CHUCK SCHULDINER's Mother Speaks Out On Anniversary Of Her Son's Death

On this, the two-year anniversary of Chuck Schuldiner's passing, DEATH's official web site, EmptyWords.org, has posted a brand-new interview with Chuck's mother, Jane Schuldiner. Check it out here. A translated version of the interview will be published this month in the Italian edition of Metal Hammer magazine.

Schuldiner, widely considered to have pioneered the American death metal sound that is still an influence on so many bands today, passed away on December 13, 2001 at the age of 34 following a lengthy battle with pontine glioma, a type of brain tumor commonly associated with children.
